Becoming a room, a space or spacialisation – that was the concept that motivated the founding of the ‘Grey Room Studio’, an experimental art space in Vienna’s 15th district. Its front area features a 30 m2 space. The favourable location at the Kriemhildplatz makes it possible to implement the curatorial concept of a connection to the urban space. Artists from various genres are invited since then to realise a concept that engages with the surrounding public space.
